Haha! I found my $116 History book at Amazon for only $15.00! The reading list for that class doesn't look too bad; Communist Manifesto by Marx (read it), Prince by Machiavelli (read it, but didn't really read it) and What Went Wrong? by Lewis. One new book and two others I haven't read in years. I still need to go over The Jungle again. I don't know why. I just want to. I wish that my Spanish and Economics teachers would post their booklist. Those are the last two classes I need to buy books for.

The progress with my writing has advanced. I’ve written the beginning and most of the end of my story. I started on the fast-paced middle section last week. Alan has my borrowed laptop and I’m stuck with my legal pads and paper until he returns. I feel so retro for the time being. Ever since they have left I’ve been in a constant cycle of cooking and writing or thinking about doing them. It’s lovely. Allison said I couldn't cook until the fridge was emptied (all of the food was eaten). So, I sent her off to work with a few plates and did the dishes. I get to cook something new tonight! I have missed cooking so much. I love it! Why did I pick business school over culinary school? Oh, right; I'm logical like that. Damn you parental pressure! Oh, well. Baking makes me happy! I was in a bad mood for the past couple of days and I had no idea why. I wasn't angry at anyone. I just felt off for the first time in weeks. Oh, well. I baked cookies and everything is fine. I'm going to search for more recipes!
